PDF/Student position with Dr. P.K.Mukhopadhyay
The Project grant #5 supports the position of an R.A. (POST DOC) for three years. Persons below 35 years of age and having Ph. D. in Solid State Physics, Material Science, Solid State Chemistry or Metallurgy are encouraged to apply. Persons who have already submitted but not yet defended, can also apply. But then this position will be provisional for just one year. Non Indians can apply, but there should be clearance from the government of his/her respective country and from Indian government. Standard Indian R.A. salary (INR 11,000/- p.m.) and admissible central government allowances will be given.If interested, CSIR pool officers may also send their applications to join the group. Same for the independent PDFs.
NET/GATE qualified students can also apply. But they should have their own scholarships. Foreign students should also have their scholarships and valid permits to work here.
